Terms of Rental

Effective date: October 7, 2026

These Terms of Rental (the “Terms”) apply to every booking of a Humn Robots robot and its operator. Humn Robots is operated by HUMNROBOTS LLC (“Humn Robots”, “we”, “us” or “our”). “You” means the person or organization making the booking. By booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We rent humanoid robots for private and corporate events in and around Miami, Florida. Every booking includes a trained operator, who brings the robot, sets it up, runs the experience and stays with it for the entire booking.

The package, duration and price of your booking are those shown on our website or in the written quote we send you, and are confirmed in your booking confirmation.

2. Booking

Online bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the start of your event. For shorter notice, contact us and we will tell you whether we can make it.

We serve events within 50 miles of Miami, Florida, and travel within that area is included in the price. Beyond that area, events are available on request, with a custom quote.

Your booking is confirmed once your deposit has been paid and we have sent you a written confirmation by email. If we cannot accept a booking after your deposit has been paid, we refund it in full.

To book, you must be at least 18 years old and give us accurate information about your event: date, start time, duration, address, type of venue (indoor or outdoor) and an on-site contact.

3. Prices and taxes

All prices are in US dollars, plus applicable sales tax. Any tax due is shown separately before you pay.

4. Deposit and payment

Deposit. To book, you pay a deposit of 50% of the total price and save a payment card. Payments are processed by Stripe: we never see or store your full card number.

Balance. The remaining 50% is charged automatically to the saved card on the morning of your event. By booking, you authorize us to make this charge.

If the charge fails, we send you a payment link. The balance must be paid before the service begins, and we are not required to start the service until it is.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your booking by email at contact@humnrobots.com. The date and time we receive your request determine which rule applies:

  • More than 7 days before the event: your deposit is refunded in full.
  • 7 days or less before the event: your deposit is non-refundable.

Because the balance is only charged on the morning of the event, it is not charged if you cancel. If it has already been charged when you cancel, it is refunded.

Refunds are made to the card used for payment. Depending on your bank, they can take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement.

If we cancel your booking for a reason that is not your fault, we refund everything you have paid or, if you prefer, move your booking to another date.

6. Changing your date

You can change the date of your booking once, free of charge, if you ask at least 48 hours before the start of the event. The new date is subject to availability, and your deposit is carried over to it.

After a date change, the cancellation rules apply to the new date. However, if the change was requested 7 days or less before the original date, the deposit remains non-refundable.

Additional changes, or a change requested less than 48 hours before the event, are not guaranteed: we accommodate them when we can. Otherwise, your original booking stands and the cancellation rules apply.

7. On the day of your event

A trained operator from our team accompanies the robot for the entire booking. The robot remains under the operator’s control at all times: guests interact with it only as the operator directs.

The operator arrives before the start time to set up and needs a short time after the end to pack up. Setup and pack-up are not part of your booked time, so please make the space available for them.

For everyone’s safety, the operator may at any time pause a demonstration, adapt the program or ask guests to keep their distance, and may stop the service if conditions become unsafe for people, property or the robot.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing:

  • a safe space for the robot: a flat, dry and stable floor, with enough clear room around it, as indicated by the operator;
  • for outdoor events, a covered area in case of rain;
  • access for the operator and the equipment: parking or a loading area, an elevator if needed, and any authorization or pass the venue requires;
  • an on-site contact who can be reached throughout the booking.

You are also responsible for the behavior of your guests. Please make sure that no one pushes, climbs on or hangs from the robot or tries to operate it, and that children stay under adult supervision.

If we cannot start or continue the service because these conditions are not met, the booking is treated as cancelled by you on the day of the event (see Cancellation and refunds).

9. Damage and liability

You are responsible for loss of or damage to the robot or our equipment caused by you, your guests or the venue, for example through impacts, misuse or spilled liquids. Normal wear and tear and damage caused by our operator are excluded. We will document any damage and the cost of repair or replacement, which you agree to pay.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or loss of business. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Events beyond our control

If the service cannot take place because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of you or us, such as severe or unsafe weather (including tropical storm and hurricane warnings), a technical failure of the robot, illness, an accident, a power outage or an order from the authorities, we offer you the choice between a full refund of the amounts paid and a new date.

If such an event interrupts the service after it has started, we refund the share of the booked time that could not be delivered, or offer it on a new date.

11. Photos and videos

You and your guests are welcome to take photos and videos of the robot during the event and to share them, including on social media.

Our operator may also take photos and videos during the event to promote our services, for example on our website and social media. If you prefer that we don’t, or that your guests or your brand don’t appear, just let us know before the event. We remove any published content showing a person on request.

12. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute relating to a booking will be brought exclusively before the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Before going to court, please contact us: most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.

14. General

These Terms, together with your booking confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your booking. If they conflict, the booking confirmation prevails.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Each booking is governed by the version in effect on the date it was made. The effective date appears at the top of this page.

These Terms are available in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
