Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you chat with our booking assistant, request a booking or contact us (by email, phone or WhatsApp), you may give us your name, email address, phone number, the details of your event (date, time, address, type of event, number of guests) and the content of your messages.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered in secure fields provided by Stripe and go directly to Stripe, which stores them: we never see or store your full card number or security code. We receive information such as the payment status, the card brand and its last four digits.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our website, we and our analytics providers collect information about your device and your visit: pages viewed, the website that referred you, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (city or region).

2. Our booking assistant

The chat on our website is an automated assistant powered by artificial intelligence. It is not a person, even when it speaks in the voice of our robot.

To generate its replies, the messages you write are sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model behind the assistant, which processes them on our behalf.

When you share details for a booking (such as your name, contact information and event details), they are passed on to our team so we can confirm availability, prepare a quote and follow up with you.

Please do not share sensitive information in the chat, such as payment card numbers, health information or government identification numbers.

3. How we use your information

We use your information:

• to answer your questions and handle your booking requests;
• to provide the service: planning, logistics and communication about your event;
• to process your deposit and balance, and send you the related confirmations, reminders and payment links;
• to understand how our website is used and improve it;
• to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Rental.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for the purposes above:

• Anthropic, which provides the AI model behind our booking assistant;
• Stripe, which processes payments (Stripe’s privacy policy);
• Google, for website analytics (Google Analytics) and our email;
• Vercel, which hosts our website and provides privacy-friendly visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics);
• Veltech, our web agency, which builds and maintains our website and the platform where booking requests are stored;
• Meta (WhatsApp), if you choose to contact us on WhatsApp.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. These providers may process information in the United States and in other countries.

5. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses:

• Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure visits and how our pages are used (not for advertising). You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you on other websites.
• a language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE), which remembers the language you chose for one year.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

Do Not Track. Our website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as there is no common standard for them. We do not allow other companies to track you across websites through our website.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

• booking and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require;
• booking requests and conversations that do not lead to a booking: as long as needed to follow up with you;
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) may give you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access it or receive a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or its use for targeted advertising (we do neither).

Whatever state you live in, you can make these requests by emailing contact@humnrobots.com. We will respond within 45 days, after verifying your identity, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you where the law requires.

9. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Bookings must be made by an adult. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with its effective date and, if the changes are significant, let you know by email or with a notice on our website.

This policy is available in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
